Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA), Home Department, Government of Punjab, has announced contract-based consultancy positions for qualified medical professionals in the field of Pathology and Histology. These positions are based at the PFSA headquarters located at Old Multan Road, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore, Punjab.
The agency is seeking services of Senior Consultant (Pathology & Histology) and Consultant (Pathology & Histology) for a period of one year. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced medical professionals registered with PMDC or Pakistan Medical Commission to contribute to forensic science at a provincial government level.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Sr. Consultant (Pathology & Histology)
Candidates may apply under either of the following two options:
Option A:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized and registered with Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) or Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC)
- Postgraduate Level III qualification such as Ph.D, FCPS, or MRC in Pathology, Histopathology, or Microbiology, or an equivalent qualification from Diplomate American Board in the same disciplines
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a Forensic Pathology or Histopathology Laboratory
Option B:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized and registered with PMDC or PMC
- Postgraduate Level II qualification such as M.Phil in Pathology, Histopathology, or Microbiology, or any equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC, PMC, or Diplomate American Board in the same disciplines
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a Forensic Pathology or Histopathology Laboratory
2. Consultant (Pathology & Histology)
- MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized and registered with PMDC or PMC
- Postgraduate Level II qualification such as M.Phil in Pathology, Histopathology, or Microbiology, or any equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC, PMC, or Diplomate American Board in the same disciplines
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a reputable Pathology, Histopathology, or Microbiology Laboratory
- Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in a reputable Forensic Laboratory
Salary Information
